Greetings!!
Thank you for visiting our website www.afdint.org (Alliance for Development International). This website is a demonstration of our work and commitment to ending poverty and social injustice, especially among women and girls in schools and communities. At afdint, we support women and girls to overcome inequality and fulfil their potential with the uniqueness of male inclusiveness.
In Uganda we work in all Districts focusing on empowering women and girls in business startups, skills enhancement and development, eradicating sexual and gender based violence through proper prevention and response measures and helping to build a society where women and girls will no longer suffer from physical, sexual and emotional violence. We support women and girls and uniquely involve the males in society and create awareness for them to find and develop their inner strengths and speak up on many barriers they face, with a focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health, Gender based violence, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Food Nutrition Security and Climate Resilience and Economic Empowerment.
We believe in collaboration as a way to change the world so we partner with a range of partners including donors, international NGOs, national and local NGOs, CBOs with a focus on women led organizations, line Government Institutions at national and decentralized levels, private sector organizations, and research organizations. With this we combine efforts to come up with scalable approaches and models that have a lasting impact on addressing the root causes of women and girls’ subject to poverty and discrimination in Uganda

Ms Evusa holds a bachelor’s degree from Makerere University Uganda, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Uganda Martyrs University, Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Uganda Management Institute and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Development Services from International Training Centre of the International Labor Organization – Italy and other recognized certificates in livelihood, markets and entrepreneurship’s.
Furthermore, Ms Evusa She has the ability to deal with people from various background with tact and diplomacy, and can work in a multicultural environment and be able to demonstrate ability in providing high quality institutional and technical advices Ms. Evusa has demonstrated experience in leading, motivating and managing management team to plan, execute, monitor and evaluate a fit-for-purpose strategy in line with business and organization goals and objectives.
Evusa Diana is the Executive Director at Alliance for Development International (Afdint) where she provides leadership for afdints’ strategies and mission in Uganda.
Ms Evusa is a skilled strategist, economic rights and gender equality advocate with over ten years of practical experience in Business Development Services (BDS), gender inclusion and enterprise development, working with vulnerable and marginalized group and providing key solutions to inclusion. She has in depth knowledge of the civil society sector, human rights advocacy, organizational leadership, and strategic communications.
Prior to joining Afdint, Ms Evusa has experience in working with Government, Private Sector such as Commercial Banks, International Financial Institutions- Projects of the World Bank, as well as Civil Society Organizations. She has the ability to deal with people from various background with tact and diplomacy, and can work in a multicultural environment and be able to demonstrate ability in providing high quality institutional and technical advices. Throughout her prior careers, she was responsible for developing, communicating, and executing strategies, as well as mobilizing resources to ensure successful delivery and sustainability of key projects. She has worked mostly with poor, vulnerable and marginalized groups in societies.
Ms Evusa’s academic thesis’s are primarily on communication strategies that builds frame works for teamwork in project implementations and business development services for community development.
